General information General information - Age Restrictions and Exceptions
Driving licence: A driver must hold a licence for at least two years.
Minimum age: 21. For drivers between age 21 and 25 there is a
compulsory Young Driver's Fee of SIT € 15,00 per rental. Cars of group
L: driver must be at least 25 years old.
Methods of Payment
All major credit cards authorized by AMZS RENT d.o.o.: Hertz, Diners Club, American Express, Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa.
Rental rates
The minimum rental charge is one day (24 hours). Additional half of
hour (0-29 minutes) is free of charge. For more than half an hour (30
minutes plus) an extra day is charged.
Rates are exclusive of petrol. For cars not returned with a full tank
the customer will be charged for petrol or diesel fuel € 1,80 per
litre.
For lost documents, keys or plate number the customer will be charged € 50,00.
Reservations: Can be confirmed only for a car groups, not for a
specific type of car. The reservation must be cancelled 24 hours before
rental, otherwise the cancellation fee € 60,90 for groups G, H, I, J,
K, L, R and W will be charged.
Delivery / Collection Service
Round-the-clock delivery and collection of cars.
- Free delivery within city limits (20 km circle from office) during working hours.
- If the site of delivery is more than 20 km away from office during working hours: € 10,00 delivery/collection + delivery mileage
- Delivery/collection charges up to/from office out of working hours: € 30,00 delivery/collection + delivery mileage.
Insurance
Third Party Liability
All cars are provided with third party liability coverage. The
insurance company covers the damage caused by our car to other people's
property up to € 110.000 per accidental event and up to € 550.000 per
accidental event in case of physical injury or death.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
In case of an accidental event the customer has to repay AMZS RENT
d.o.o. all the damage on the car. Regardless of CDW being taken or
included, the following amounts (deductibles) will be charged in case
of damage to the vehicle.
- Group: A,B,C - 350 €
- Group: D,H,J - 500 €
- Group: E,W - 600 €
- Group: F,G,I,K,R - 800 €
- Group: L - 1.000 €
The renter must have a "traffic accident report" signed by a person at fault to be free of financial responsibility
Theft Protection (TP)
In case of the eventual theft of a car or its components, the customer
shall indemnify AMZS RENT d.o.o. for all resulting damages.
TP is an optional service which, if accepted, lowers the renters
responsibility for loss or damage to the vehicle due to theft,
attempted theft or vandalism (inc.parts and accessories). Regardless of
TP being taken or included, the following amounts (deductibles) will be
charged
- Group: A,B,C - 350 €
- Group: D,H,J - 500 €
- Group: E,W - 600 €
- Group: F,G,I,K,R - 800 €
- Group: L - 1.000 €
Where TP is declined, the renter will be responsible for the value of the car
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal accident insurance is available at € 4,00 per day
Rent-it-here, Leave-it-There (One Way Rental)
- National one way rentals are available with no additional charge.
- The cost of returning the vehicle abroad depends on the returning site of the vehicle (special conditions).

Highway and motorway tolls in Slovenija
Effective of 1.7.2008 all vehicles traveling on slovenian Highways and
Motorways are required by slovenian law to display a valid "highway
sticker" to confirm the payment of the toll. All slovenian vehicles are
automatically equipped with those stickers.
Cost of stickers:
- Half year sticker - 35 €
- Full year sticker - 55 €
The cost of this toll is covered with TOLL Fee which will be charged to
every customer who is renting a car in Slovenija. Customers will be
charged 2,00 € per day with a maximum payment of 20,00 € (exclusive of
20% v.a.t.).
